Broseff man

So! I am almost finished with my two art pieces for this month. I just have a few adjustments to make on my metallic rib cage by just adding one last set of ribs to the botto that will bend upwards towards the sternum like the real thing. Last class I took measurments and was able to study a 3 D human skull model like this one in the picture. I was able to perfect the ratios and angle of the bones of the face. They both are lookin pretty primus.

dude dude DUDE

Ok so the skull is slowly but surely making its way. so far it still looks like a hunk of clay. BUT im just taking my time i guess. Anyways, while I do that IN class OUTside of class I am going to be welding a life sized rib cage to go along with my legs and arms. My younglife leader is actually a pretty sick welder and he is going to help out! jacked. he has made some art of his own and things like a funcitonal metal coffee table for this living room. I am going to use old rusted up metal scraps. Hopefully i will find some old car parts or gears or stuff like that

Roll the bones baby

Yo ok. so I decided that I am going to TRY to scuplt a human skull and jaw bone (mandible) and weld a rib cage out of scrap pieces of metal. Welding i think will save me alot of time and I am excited to learn a new skill. The skull will be no easy task though. I am doing a lot of research right now on the size and shapes of different peoples' skulls. I also am looking up diseases or different kinds of trauma that I could incorporate into the design of the skull.
